Checks never need an account. Signing in unlocks extras: a watchlist with ban alerts, match import and control over your own profile.

1You sign in directly on steamcommunity.com, the official Steam site. RateCS never sees your password or Steam Guard code.
2Steam only tells us your public SteamID. No access to your inventory, friends, chats, email or payment data, and we cannot act on your behalf.
3We only store your SteamID, login time and your sessions. Sign out or delete your account at any time.
